IU College's premier philanthropic student support initiative
Open to students across all disciplines within the College, the Lux et Veritas Scholars Program offers a $20,000 scholarship package. This program provides students with transformative opportunities to broaden their academic and professional horizons. Each scholar receives four annual stipends of $4,000, alongside an additional $4,000 to support experiential learning. These funds are designed to be used at any point during the student’s four-year journey, providing flexibility and encouragement to pursue life-changing experiences outside the classroom.

The experiential learning stipend supports a range of opportunities, including:
Internships
For students in unpaid or underpaid internships, this stipend allows them to gain critical, real-world experience without financial hardship.
Undergraduate research
The stipend enables students to participate in research programs, fostering innovation and collaboration with faculty on cutting-edge projects.
Study abroad
Students can explore different cultures, languages, and global perspectives, enriching their education and broadening their worldviews.
Service-learning
Students can engage in community and service-related initiatives, aligning classroom learning with hands-on service to society.
Naming opportunities
Named scholarships under the Lux et Veritas umbrella allow donors to create a legacy that will last generations. Donors may choose to direct their support to specific fields—such as the arts and humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences—or to individual disciplines like Chemistry, Political Science, or History, as examples. The generosity of our donors enables these scholarships to meet the greatest needs of the College, cultivating talent across a wide range of disciplines.
